The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who loves taking innovative solutions to market and influencing the future-state of products. As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Symend, you will be responsible for designing compelling go-to-market plans, influencing new features and products, collaborating on the direction of our product roadmap and ensuring Symend remains the leader in science-based digital engagement. Working closely with Product Management, Sales and Client Success, you are the connective tissue that brings market insight, client feedback and the competitive landscape together to continually innovate our world class solutions.

This role can be located in Calgary, AB or Denver, CO.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop a product marketing plan that drives interest and generates demand for new customers and current clients aligned with overall growth and revenue goals of Symend
  • Conduct go-to-market planning with product management and sales
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather market insights, communicating findings to help drive product development
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and requirements for new product capabilities
  • Create compelling sales and customer-facing messaging and collateral
  • Conduct training for Sales and Client Success teams on new products and features
  • Drive go-to-market tactics and lead new product and feature launches
  • Work with Sales, Client Success and Product Management teams to gather feedback from customers and help determine how the product can be improved
  • Collaborate regularly with Product Management to provide market, competitive and internal input on feature and functionality requirements.

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of marketing experience with at least 4+ years working in a product marketing role in the B2B SaaS space
  • Strong interest and natural curiosity in how Symend's solution is built and how it will be shaped in the future
  • Clear communication and the ability to take complex technical information and translate it into material that is easy to understand
  • Analytical mindset to research and investigate market trends and make recommendations on findings
  • Influence and persuade others, gaining support and commitment to get people to act
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with an amazing ability to work under pressure.
