naturSource is an established family business specializing in the production of simply tasteful snacks and cereals since 1980. We are looking for a creative marketer to join our team.

Reporting to the Executive VP, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative concepts to promote the naturSource® brand. The Marketing Coordinator’s main areas of responsibility include developing tools and executing national and local marketing projects, and coordinating marketing programs with our external partners while ensuring that all projects are delivered on time. The Marketing Coordinator must manage multiple projects with different deadlines and priority levels. They must develop a clear understanding of the food industry, graphic design and CPG in order to perform their tasks and excel in the role. The ideal candidate must be a hands-on professional who is creative, proactive, and self-motivated. They must enjoy working in a team and have a passion for marketing and food.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support to the executive VP in the implementation of the marketing plan
  • Executing various marketing initiatives including print, marketing collateral, and digital channels
  • Preparing briefs and mood boards for campaigns, packaging, social medias, and retail channels
  • Analyzing marketing initiatives performance and making recommendations
  • Executing various marketing programs and managing relations for corporate partnerships
  • Responding to marketing requests from different internal departments and offering input (sales, operations, R&D, etc.)
  • Coordinating various trade shows and special events
  • Managing relations, quotations and follow up with suppliers (printers, graphic designers, etc.)
  • Participating to the creation of all aspect of packaging for retail and distribution
  • Composing memos and presentations to communicating marketing initiatives
  • Producing marketing material, specification sheets, new product procedures and labelling
  • Updating the website and social medias to ensure the most up-to-date information
  • Monitor competition
  • Other administrative tasks, as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Have a university degree in marketing or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or in an advertising agency
  • Be versatile while remaining flexible and able to manage priorities
  • Possess organizational and planning abilities
  • Good sense of creativity and likes to follow the food industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Familiarity with the different forms of printing (signage, boxes, labels, etc.) an asset
  • Basic understanding of CPG and regulations
  • Be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be motivated to learn and present a great attitude
  • Enjoy working in a team with different people and departments
  • Bilingualism is required (French and English)
