Principales responsabilités

  • Effectuer des recherches comparatives sur les stratégies de marketing;
  • Préparer des rapports, des brochures, des sites web, des documents de recherche, des textes, des nouvelles ou des articles communicatifs en deux langues (français et anglais);
  • Planifier et élaborer des stratégies de commerce électronique;
  • Développer et mettre à jour la littérature;
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le département de ventes;
  • Effectuer des études de marché et analyser leurs résultats;
  • Élaborer et lancer des campagnes de promotion de la vente des produits et services;
  • Concevoir des questionnaires d’étude de marché;
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre toutes les stratégies de communication interne et externe;
  • Effectuer des études sociales ou économiques à l’échelle locale, régionale ou nationale afin d’évaluer le potentiel de développement potentiel et les tendances futures;
  • Répondre aux demandes de renseignements de la direction concernant les possibilités de développement;
  • Contribuer à l’efficacité globale du département marketing, communiquer ouvertement, résoudre les problèmes de façon proactive, offrir des idées créatives;
  • Concevoir et mettre en place des actions promotionnelles destinées à optimiser les ventes;
  • Représenter l’image corporative, sera aussi responsable de la visibilité de l’organisation et de l’image des produits et services;
  • Participer dans l’exécution des plans d’action et objectifs;
  • Maîtriser tous les produits et services faisant partie du portfolio de notre cliente;
  • Maximiser la visibilité des produits;

Exigences du poste

  • Niveau d’études : BAC ou un diplôme d’études universitaire en relations publiques, en communications, en marketing, en journalisme ou dans un domaine connexe;

Descript position summary

The Marketing and Communications Specialist’s job entails assisting and implementing all marketing strategies by developing various marketing materials and collateral essential for the growth of a company. The Marketing Specialist markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; updating and maintaining companies’ website; tracking sales data; developing, updating and maintaining promotional materials; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports.

The main focus is on developing brochures, website marketing material, planning and market research to develop their marketing strategies. The Marketing Specialist works under the direction of the President & CEO and carries out several tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the company.

The Marketing Sales Specialist role is to support and manage the business efficiently.

Essential job functions

  • Develop marketing material as brochures, flyers, presentations and other collateral marketing materials in French and English;
  • Develop advertising solutions to sell applicable to our client's products and services according to the defined sales strategy/pricing tools in French and English;
  • Preparing press releases, company newsletter and event announcements;
  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations;
  • Prepare sales plans and forecasts. Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts;
  • Conducting research on competition; research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases;
  • Identify profitable new opportunities from leads provided by branches/facilities, current customers, trade publications, state associations, internet/newspaper/journal articles, or cold-calling;
  • Keep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities;
  • Ensures that all sales actions comply with all regulations and our client corporate policies/processes;
  • Assisting in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers, and collateral;
  • Providing assistance in creating and enhancing the campaign list;
  • Serving as a liaison between advertising agencies and the company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services;
  • Preparing invitations, event agenda, track payments or refunds and registration forms for events;
  • Providing personal and administrative support to the sales representatives. The support includes running errands, coordinating travel arranging, prepare appointments and agendas;
  • Supports sales staff as per direction’s requirements which may include providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests;
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists;
  • Generating trade show passes, thank you letters, form letters for mailing mass brochures to the company prospective customers;
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals;
  • Managing marketing and media event budgets and arranging preparatory meetings for trade shows and seminars;
  • Coordinating catered events for client visits and staff events along with dinners, beach, parties, luncheons, happy hours, picnics, and cubs;
  • Validating and fulfilling request for information and marketing, tracking mails and requests;
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Travel might be required; Limited overnight travel may be required (<15%) for customer visits, vendor visits, training.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred;
  • Diploma from an accredited university;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities;
  • Strong customer orientation; prompt issue resolution/follow-through;
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills;
  • Strong computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
