Under the supervision of the Communications and Media Relations (CRM) manager, the holder of the position will be the main responsible within the team in terms of communication needs related to Human Resources initiatives.

We are looking for a competent and experienced communicator, able to manage a wide range of tasks, sometimes working simultaneously with different Services on multiple tasks. This person's well-developed interpersonal skills will enable him/her to work closely and productively with staff at all hierarchical levels, from the highest-ranking administrators to clinicians and support staff. Similarly, the candidate will be able to provide support and advise Departments, Services and Committees on communication strategies and best practices.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Support communication initiatives related to the needs and initiatives of Human Resources through strategic planning, drafting, reviewing and coordinating.
  • Conduct research, write, revise and coordinate the production of current and compelling information material (digital and printed) for the internal and external audiences of CIUSSS Centre-West de l'Île-de-Montréal. Develop and implement communication plans for various projects and organizational development.
  • Generate online content (social media, Web, etc.) to ensure maximum timeliness and optimize visibility.
  • Expand existing communication programs and add value to them.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate university degree or equivalent, in communications, public relations, journalism or in a discipline relevant to the functions or have a comparative evaluation of studies carried out outside of Quebec issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Graduate degree, an asset.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least three years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare and social services sector, its administration and its legal framework as well as HR issues within a large organization.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, Canva, and all social media platforms. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, an asset.
