Under the supervision of the Marketing Director, the Brand Manager responsibilities are to ensure the coherence of our two brands, Garneau and Sugoi. He/she must know how to follow their evolution, determine the needs and different expectations of their customers or future consumers. In addition, he/she is responsible for the continuity, creation, management and implementation of the brands. He/she will also be required to analyze internal processes in order to propose improvements on an ongoing basis.

- Act as contact person for brand-related marketing, product packaging and brand approvals;
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines for all processes;
- Develop the strategic and creative process for marketing campaigns as well as communication strategies for the brand;
- Create marketing and communication strategies with the marketing, sales and product development team based on consumer data analysis;
- Participate in the creation and implementation of launch plans designed to maximize brand awareness, visibility and profitability;
- Help define positioning, target consumers and key messages through strategic research and analysis;
- Develop and share market trends and industry benchmarks, as well as competitors;
- Analyze market trends, assess new opportunities and ensure product launch accordingly;
- Create and analyze sales reports on a weekly basis;
- Participate in developing and monitoring the budget required to implement plans;
- Any other task requested by your immediate superior.
Requirements :
- College or university degree in marketing, communications or other relevant field;
- At least 5 years marketing experience in the retail industry;
- A committed profile who likes to be in the action;
- Experience in developing and improving product packaging;
- Advanced or bilingual English/French (written and spoken);
- Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Be well organized and structured in the way you work;
- Ability to express one's own ideas and to receive those of others;
- Good team spirit;
- Knowledge of the retail industry in Canada and the United States;
- Experience in the sports industry (an asset);
- Be able to change a flat tire on a bike or wax cross-country skis (an asset) 😊
