Product Marketing CoordinatorJob Description

Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Innovation, the Product Coordinator will assist the Director of Innovation in working cross-functionally to coordinate and project-manage the execution of new, existing products and packaging projects. The Product Coordinator will work closely with multiple departments - Marketing, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Production, and Design teams to ensure successful planning and project execution. They will also be responsible for coordinating the development and submission of new packaging photos for GS1, provincial boards, and Health Canada submissions.

Scope of Role:

Project-manage the packaging design and development process from labelling design to regulatory approval and launch

  • Work closely with 3rd party print vendors
  • Manage Sundial's Product Information System
  • Management of the internal SKUs and GTIN barcodes process within our internal systems
  • Submit and project-manage ERP product requests
  • Generate provincial master case/shipping label proofs using internal software
  • Book, arrange, and approve photography of new packaging and products
  • Development and implementation of product samples to board photos
  • Coordinate preparation/resizing of photos to Board-specific specifications
  • Support Commercial team with listings by submitting labels, photos, and samples
  • Work with the regulatory team to Initiate Health Canada submissions for new products
  • Work alongside the Regulatory team to ensure product compliance to standards are met
  • Collaborate with Brand team in product and packaging design
  • Develop and design operating procedures and process improvement
  • Implement weekly reporting to keep internal stakeholders aligned and informed
  • Other administrative duties as required

Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing or related fields

  • Project Management Certification
  • 2-3 years in a Projects / Product Marketing function
  • Strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects concurrently, at various stages of the product lifecycle will be important
