Overview

KEV Group is looking for a Marketing Events Coordinator to join the Marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of event types - tradeshows, seminars, user conferences, meetings, local events - and the like.

You Will:

  • Provide project management for all marketing events following established guidelines and ensuring professional, consistent delivery of events
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders in the preparation and delivery of these events
  • Track and provide results and create debrief documents for all events on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Handle logistics for events e.g., booking facilities, audio/visual, food & beverage, speaker/attendee registration, etc.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver event collateral, graphics, booths, etc.
  • Provide timely pre- and post-event support including briefing documents, surveys, lead data entry, follow up, etc., for all events
  • Ensure all events are promoted on www.kevgroup.com
  • Ensure events are on time and on budget
  • Occasionally handle onsite events duties such as setup, tear down and event resource coordination
  • Document guidelines/best practices for events
  • Develop recommendations/plans as required for new initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department as well as other areas across the company
  • Continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives
  • Conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department as well as other areas across the company
  • Continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating and executing marketing events
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) and project management tools such as monday.com
  • A pragmatic, detail-oriented self-starter who demonstrates initiative and thrives in a multi-tasking, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and prioritize highest impact initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • University Degree or College Diploma in marketing or events management is required
