Administrative Support II (Social Media Coordinator)

Position Details

The Department of Ancillary Services requires the services of a full-time Social Media Coordinator. This is a full-time limited term position covering a maternity leave effective from July 18, 2022 to August 31, 2023. Ancillary Services is a dynamic business group encompassing Housing Services, Bookstore, Printing Services, Conference & Event Services, and Food Services.

Reporting to the Assoc. Executive Director of Ancillary Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for content creation and updating the social media platforms for all the Ancillary business units. The successful candidate will be student focused, have a professional attitude, and able to work well independently and in a team environment.

Employment Term: July 18, 2022 - August 31, 2023

Position Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a relevant College Diploma or Degree, preference in New Media or Marketing, and at least two years of prior related work experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Strong computer proficiency, organization skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment are required.

Knowledge of the following software applications: Buffer, CANVA, Photoshop, Microsoft Suite, Adobe PDF, DocuSign, MailChimp, Flowcode, and website management. The role also entails inventory photography and photo editing for the Bookstore online storefront.

Experience in delivering results based on social media content for the Ancillary management team is essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships with the University community.

Hiring Range

$3,640.00 - $4,050.00 monthly
