Talent Acquisition Coordinator
What you will do as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator:
- Take a client-focused approach to support the talent acquisition life cycle.
- Support the development of an in-house recruitment program to engage talent.
- Provide top quality service during the recruitment process and presenting high-quality candidates to the hiring team.
- Partner with hiring managers to assess and recommend staffing needs on an ongoing basis in order to maintain an accurate pipeline.
- Build an applicant pool for required and planned roles by; partnering with the business partners, participating in career events, and building strong relationships with external recruiters.
- Provide recommendations to hiring managers on ideal candidates throughout screening process.
- Support hiring managers and peers by coaching, training and providing tools through the recruitment process to create a successful hire.
Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business or similar
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Recruitment with a staffing or recruitment agency, or in an industrial based company
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades and engineering positions is a definite asset
- Proven record of closing multiple requisitions with quality results in a timely manner
- Proven knowledge of latest recruitment trends and strategies, current labour market in Canada and the US
- Computer proficient with experience using MS Office Suite (strong Excel skills are preferred), ATS, HRIS
- Adhere to reliability, discretion, and confidentiality of the company at all times
- Able to work as part of a positive and respectful team
- Must be able to work on site in Oakville 4 days per week
