Marketing and Public Relations Manager

We are looking for a Marketing and Public Relations Manager to create and execute comprehensive marketing and publics relations plan for both of our world-class Golf Resorts. Marketing and Public Relations Manager Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Reports to Director of Operations and VP Resorts & Community Development
  • Create an annual communication plan and maintain comprehensive project documentation and strategies for internal and external, for both earned and owned media platforms, and deliver meaningful and engaging campaigns targeting the press, stakeholders and end-users.
  • Maintaining company brand integrity
  • Managing Search Engine Marketing
  • Social media & its paid advertising
  • Manage the brand's marketing funnel: new leads, to prospects, to customers.
  • Manage all brand-related marketing assets: public-facing websites, email marketing, social media pages, video marketing channels, advertising, and partnerships.
  • With Department Heads of Golf, Events, Land Development create marketing campaigns to increase sales.
  • With Human Resources, create marketing campaigns to increase talent pool.
  • Brainstorm & deliver fresh strategies for reaching more customers & increasing revenue.
  • Develop key workflows with non-marketing teams to organize assets & hit deadlines
  • Develop advertising and marketing communications material with a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.
  • Research and understand key business challenges, customer behaviours, target audiences, and environmental factors that impact programs within the business and assigned departments.
  • Ensure that all communications and marketing material align with brand standards
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
  • Define and share best practices internally/externally
  • Be a proactive, self-starter with the ability to juggle the priorities of multiple projects at once
  • Tracking key performance indicators for both marketing campaigns and the business
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • 5-10 years of proven experience leading Marketing /Public Relations / Communications, and engagement activities in large, complex companies
  • A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, public relations, hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • A confident communicator and presenter
  • Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
  • Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, persuasive and proactive attitude with strong influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability, resourcefulness, tenacious follow-through, detail-oriented, creative problem-solver and adaptability to working in a dynamic environment
  • Confidence in providing insights and recommendations
  • Some travel to resorts required
