Reporting to the Marketing, Communications Manager, the candidate will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our marketing automation initiatives and collaborating with relevant stakeholders in order to ensure the successful delivery of the marketing roadmap.


This is a full-time, permanent position, in accordance with the policies that are in effect at Alvéole.

Start Date: October 1st 2021 at the latest, can start earlier if available



  • Oversees list segmentation and creation, workflow & sequence automation, landing page and email creation, all on Hubspot

  • Drives the implementation of automated programs and email campaigns based on best practices

  • Implements nurture strategies that will fully optimize lead nurture, customer onboarding, up-sells, and retention opportunities

  • Manages deployment of email campaigns using Hubspot, ensuring quality control 

  • Works closely with the Content Specialist to provide accurate content for all nurture strategies and with the Marketing Data Analyst for data tracking and performance

  • Creates and maintains audience segmentation and filters to enable effective targeting of users at various phases in the life cycle

  • Identifies A/B testing opportunities, executes and optimizes against results

  • Uses Hubspot data to help optimize the conversion funnel & drive more opportunities

  • Maintains and understands best practice on email compliance and management of opt-in practices & policies (CAN-SPAM, CASL & GDPR)

  • Acts as the business expert user of marketing automation technology (Hubspot) by leveraging best practices and mastering advanced features, and by providing proactive insights with the Marketing and Sales teams.

  • Looks for opportunities to better support Account Based Marketing approaches 

  • Proactively advises Sales teams on requirements, constraints and optimization scenarios for their sequences 

  • Contribute to the development of analytics and reporting for marketing automation and email marketing, with the help of the Marketing Data Analyst


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role where the implementation of an automated marketing strategy was the focus

  • Experience with Hubspot

  • Experience with CRM, personalization, relationship marketing and/or loyalty program communications.

  • High level of autonomy, strong organizational and prioritization skills and a sense of responsibility

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to priority changes.

  • Excellent French & English written and verbal communication skills
