At Xanadu, we are learners, innovators, researchers, collaborators, and problem solvers. We are creating something that has never been built before. What we are doing is extremely hard, the classic moon shot. Few people in their life will be able to be a part of something like this, where if we are successful, the technologies we develop will solve some of the world's most challenging problems, and literally change the world. That is something to be excited about!

Your role & responsibilities

As Xanadu's Quantum Community Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our large and constantly growing community of users. You will engage with this diverse worldwide community-consisting of thousands of scientists, engineers, educators, students, and enthusiasts- providing the friendly guidance and support that Xanadu has become known for. You will interact with our scientific and software teams in order to solve the more challenging problems, bugs, and questions raised in our community.

Another major focus area for the Quantum Community Manager will be in the organization of signature events, such as Xanadu's quantum hackathon QHack, which attracts thousands of attendees. Your contributions will be crucial at all levels during event planning, including development, partnerships, advertisement, logistics, and execution.

In your work, you will demonstrate high standards for quality, attention to detail, the capability to execute swiftly in a fast-paced environment, a collaborative mindset, and communicate with both the public and with your colleagues in a friendly, respectful, and outgoing manner.
