The Graphic Designer reports to the Manager, Creative Services and collaborates on production for a broad range of creative concepts and designs that support the Sheridan brand. The incumbent participates in creative brainstorms and strategic planning to produce designs that enhance user experience for corporate print communications, website initiatives, trade shows, on and offline advertising and collateral for internal stakeholders.
What You'll be Doing
Designing a variety of print and digital materials (e.g., print publications, out of
- home billboards, online banners, home page takeovers, social media campaigns) and additional materials for campaigns to support Sheridan events; improve space design; and; enhance web and digital channels;
Collaborating with internal Sheridan clients to develop creative strategies to achieve marketing objectives;
Representing the Creative Studio department and Sheridan when consulting with external vendors;
Working with Advertising Media Specialist to create advertisements to be used for the media buy;
Providing expertise on design and user experience for campaign;
Researching latest industry trends, software solutions and techniques;
Performing other related duties as assigned.
You have a highly collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others to support establishing and achieving collective goals.
You enjoy balancing many different tasks and can prioritize multiple projects and bring experience working with large scale cross functional teams.
You bring an ability to create designs that adhere to corporate objectives, standards and/or style guides in a fast-paced agency style environment.
The successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:
3 year diploma/degree in Graphic Deign or a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design including both digital and print production (or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience)
Experience with digital design, online advertising, digital technologies and best practices
Knowledge of Current design programs (e.g. Adobe CC tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and InCopy).

Campus Location: Trafalgar (may be assigned activities at any Sheridan campus) once normal campus operations resume. This position is currently working remotely.
