A day in the life as a Business Development Manager:

  • Display strong knowledge of Westoba's products and services; mentor staff on how to spot deposit, loan, and wealth management opportunities with members, as well how to build strong member relationship and have holistic discovery conversations
  • Develop and maintain sales pipelines for new business being generated through the member experience department
  • Work with branch management and coach on how to generate new business and pipeline opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities for campaigns that will lead to increased sales
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure targets are met
  • Aid in the development of staff sales techniques and tools; work in close partnership with Westoba's Training team to act as a mentor to staff in implementing sales training in-branch or virtually

What you bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary education is required, a diploma or degree in Business Administration is preferred
  • Five to seven years of retail banking experience is expected; minimum five years of experience in a leadership role is expected
  • Retail mortgage lending experience is expected
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
