Under the direction of the Managing Director of Wealth Products, you will develop and maintain the editorial planning of content, from ideation, writing, through the full cycle of content production. You are creative, have an eye for engaging content, and work with subject matter experts to meld the voice of ATB, the client and technical expertise. You will also be responsible for measurement, reporting and monitoring of channels. You have a laser focus on results, but you're not afraid to experiment, make mistakes, and continuously improve. You are a self manager with the ability to work independently but also within a tight team environment.

You have a pulse on what topics are relevant that we want to talk about right now, quick to grasp the technical and complex, and can translate that through your passion and strength for writing, or working with freelancers, and subject matter experts. Your editing skills with an understanding of ATB's voice will be the final check before any content is published.

Pushing on the ecosystem, you will connect with the content teams, creative resources, social media, and work closely with various channel strategists, SEO experts, to put the right content into the right channels to boost client engagement and the impact of ATB Wealth's content.

The Manager of Wealth Content is creative, curious, client-focused and collaborative. You are excited about the challenge to create engaging content that connects to the right people at the right time. You are a champion of the sweet spot.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams that include writers, designers, researchers/analysts, marketing experts, and subject matter experts

Exceptional writing, editing, formatting, collaboration, and communication skills

Creative thinker but grounded in lots of common sense

Ability to build consensus and influence a successful design approach, and knowing when and how to use content.

Experience with digital content organization, content libraries and/or taxonomy.

Strong knowledge of web writing best practices and SEO

Outstanding organization skills, with the ability to project manage schedules, deadlines, contributors and stakeholders for multiple projects at once.

Proactive, solutions-oriented and very attentive to detail.

Financial services experience is an asset.

Experience with agile-development environments.

Naturally inquisitive and always the desire to grow, learn and push boundaries of what content can do. Observable behaviours

A strong team player who is adept at building relationships and collaborating to achieve shared goals.

Strong communication and presentation skills

A growth mindset with the ability to adapt on the fly and a desire to grow and improve skills and acumen through formal and informal training and development

Confidence in managing multiple deliverables while prioritizing competing demands Accreditation and experience

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Minimum five to seven years working in copy, content and various channel strategies including social media communications.
