Job Summary:

The Vice President

  • Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading our company's sales operations and

developing long-term sales strategies and goals. They will play an integral role in the growth of our

business by increasing our market position and developing new sales channels for our products. The ideal

candidate will have extensive leadership and sales management experience, as well as an excellent

organizational vision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and manage strategic sales and marketing plans designed to increase business opportunities, sales channels, and client networks for Smooth Commerce;
  • Set and coordinate internal sales and marketing policies, practices, and objectives, and delegate resources and personnel accordingly;
  • Collaborate with other senior-level staff members to create and implement Smooth Commerce's objectives for long-term growth and customer acquisition;
  • Establish sales and revenue targets and monitor key performance indicators;
  • Oversee and manage corporate budgets and expenditures related to sales and marketing operations;
  • Participate in regular performance, revenue, and profitability reviews with other senior-level staff members;
  • Create, implement, and lead advertising campaigns and identify marketing opportunities in a variety of target industries;
  • Conduct industry research and follow trends to evaluate options for further market growth;
  • Develop, present, and recommend innovations to sales and marketing strategies based on market research and analyses;
  • Contact and meet with prospective clients and negotiate contracts;
  • Identify clients' business goals and promote Smooth Commerce products in response to their needs;
  • Oversee the successful delivery, adoption, and implementation of Smooth Commerce technology by target clients;
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, investors, and corporate partners, and identify new opportunities for business;
  • Create promotional materials and conduct presentations to prospective clients;
  • Represent Smooth Commerce at conferences, trade shows, and networking events; and
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • A university degree in business administration, commerce, sales and marketing, or a related field is required;
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in a managerial position is required;
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role is required;
  • Must be dependable, reliable and have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
