Recrutement PS is currently recruiting for a talented Sales Manager to join our international client. Our client is a global leader in custom made Uniforms for a variety of different industries and is expanding their presence in Montreal.  Are you currently in a similar role, in a similar industry and searching for an opportunity that you will have a direct impact in building relationships, expanding business in new markets and operating a standalone office ?  Do you enjoy a challenge and building a new territory ?  Feel at ease building new relationships and enjoy the occassional travel ?  If so please read on as this opportunity might be the right one for you !  As Sales Manager some of your responsibilitie will be as follows:

  • Prospect, develop, close and maintain business with Canadian clients
  • Maintain a high level of activity by cold calling and running appointments over the phone and in person
  • Proactively develop customer relationships by demonstrating efforts to understand and uncover the customer's needs
  • Generate revenue and grow client base: Prospect, qualify, solidify relationships, overcome objections and close new accounts
  • Build a healthy opportunity sales pipeline 
  • Become a subject matter expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace intelligence by researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities, and utilizing internal resources
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying and consulting with key decision makers to understand their critical business issues and strategic objectives to develop and implement an effective enterprise wide strategy

In order to secure a spot in the interview process you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • A minimum of 5 years B2B outside sales experience
  • Experience working with large corporations
  • Experience in custom Uniform clothing sales or relevant apparel industry experience
  • Experience developing a territory - significant cold calling & lead generation
  • High activity sales cycle for generating new business
  • Able to self motivate and work independently
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve
  • Manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
