Manages all phases of sales activities. Responsible to develop and promote sales as per budget. Provide yearly sales forecast and budget. The primary goal of this position is to drive Kamek’s revenues and profit growth in the medical, aerospace & consumer goods industries. Success in this position will be measured by a consistently increasing sales volume, profit and market share within the budget and pricing objectives for the defined markets.


  • Develop an understanding of the corporate objectives defined by the President
  • Continuously expand customer base by routine prospecting and cold calling
  • Develop, implement and consistently adjust sales strategies to meet established sales targets
  • Planning of weekly sales activities
  • Prepares weekly sales activity reports
  • Analyses sales leads
  • Provide insight to the market trends and opportunities that may benefit Kamek’s profitability
  • Prepares sales and marketing proposals to the president
  • Planning of sales presentation and trade shows
  • Develop new customer accounts and service existing clients
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Quote (RFQ)
  • Follow up on all jobs quoted by the engineering team to ensure the client expectations are met
  • Monitors and updates quote log on a daily basis
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets
  • Complete other marketing and sales duties as required


  • Reports weekly sales activities to the president
  • Communicates directly with the customer
  • Inter phase with Engineering and customer service

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:   Bilingual Position (French and English)

EDUCATION:    Degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent in field of expertise – Sales

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION: High School Leaving Certificate and a degree in Business Administration


Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in small to medium size business environment

  • Experience in prospecting, cold calling and closing of sales
  • Experience in development of sales projection and budget
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing and business development


  • Knowledge of various Software packages, including Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Power Point


  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers and management
  • Fluent in both French and English in all methods of communication
  • Advanced understanding of sales fundamentals is key
  • General comprehension of business dynamics in the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify a sales opportunity and act on it
  • Ability to travel as necessary to perform required duties
