Splash Media Group is looking for another creative team member. A Graphic Designer with 3 years of experience in this industry and a strong portfolio of work. We are looking for someone who can bring forward and contribute to creative ideas, strong execution, is willing to learn and grow, is organized and a team player.

This is a full-time position (40hr work week) that will either be in our Prince George or Kelowna office. This person must be proficient in industry standard graphic design programs that include: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. It would be ideal to have additional knowledge with programs like Adobe Premier Pro (or equivalent), Adobe After Effects (or equivalent) and Adobe Lightroom.

This is a position that connects your design skills to many different services we offer, including Social Media design, print design, tradeshow design, digital design and more. This person will report directly to our Creative Director and work with our customers that span throughout North America.

Because we are a collaborative group, this is an in office role only, no remote work.

Duties

• design and develop creative concepts for print and digital projects
• communicate with vendors and execute design materials
• create and maintain client branding standards
• collaborate with other team members to ensure we meet customers objectives
• ability to perform under pressure and sometimes tight timelines
• effectively organize and manage project files, assets and schedule
• communicate well and provide guidance to supporting team members

Qualifications

• diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Design, FineArts, or related Marketing field is preferred
• minimum of 3 years experience in this industry with a strong portfolio
• be an integral part of our design team
• a creative thinker who understands branding
• someone who is passionate about design trends
• someone with strong communication skills and can contribute to creative conversations
• someone who has a good attention to detail
• someone who is well organized
• someone who is proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• someone who is comfortable or proficient in Adobe Premier Pro, and After Effects
• someone who understands Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
