We are looking for a candidate that is dependable, professional and team oriented to join us in the role of Junior Marketing Coordinator.

Role Objectives

Reporting to the Director, the Junior Marketing Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns to improve .

Responsibilities

  • Creating high quality, persuasive business development materials (proposal responses/presentations) that assist in winning new business
  • Project management for all phases of a proposal, including planning, designing, drafting, review and production
  • Ensure that proposals satisfy all criteria as requested in the RFI/RFQ/RFP
  • Use your writing and design skills to enhance the quality of proposals
  • Ensure the design of proposals is consistent with the Urbacon brand
  • Deliver proposals when requested by management
  • Create and maintain a library of branded project case studies and employee resumes
  • Writing, proof-reading and editing of marketing materials
  • Create and update corporate brochures and other marketing collateral
  • Maintain company website(s)
  • Implement strategic social media campaigns across all company platforms
  • Coordinate and publish electronic newsletters, corporate communications and announcements
  • Perform other related duties such as involvement in special projects and assistance as required
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Work with senior management to develop proposal strategies and content
  • Coordinate the design, selection, purchase and distribution of promotional items
  • Assist with market research and maintain the marketing database as required
  • Create and coordinate signage as required
  • Coordinate and execute on photography/video assignments as required

Location & Commitments

Location - In office, 750 Lake Shore Blvd East, Toronto, Ontario M4M 3M3

Travel - Unlikely but as necessary

Shift Hours - Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate of a communication, marketing, or design program.
  • Two years of marketing experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong graphic design experience is essential, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required. WordPress experience an asset.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to translate broad concepts clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of the Marketing team.
  • Enthusiastic, driven and graceful under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Takes initiative, can juggle multiple assignments and communicates the progress of work to management regularly.
