What you will accomplish:

To be successful in this role, candidates must be driven to make cold calls and introductions, be capable of follow ups and be capable of identifying potential clients across Canada. This role is demanding yet holds substantial income potential and requires a candidate who can understand the challenges of selling investment banking services (M&A, debt, capital advisory) and reports directly to the CEO of the company. RWT offers a strong potential for growth and advancement in the lucrative field of investment banking.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Attract, source, contact and obtain new clients for the company and its services
  • Cold calling and email campaigns
  • Researching prospective clients in target markets
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Assist with producing quotes and proposals
  • Generate new business by attending events, preparing mailouts and other tactics to employ new business.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the key driving forces of RWT's business model and clientele.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the clients RWT serves and the industries in which they operate.
  • Liaison between partners and clients in a professional and competent manner
  • Create, update, and maintain databases associated with historical M&A, historical financings, and others as necessary.
  • Able to handle ongoing business development activities with various businesses across an array of industries.

What you offer:

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience preferably in the finance industry
  • Undergraduate degree with a focus in finance, economics or accounting a preference or 3+ experience in an industry that could be an asset to RWT.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to communicate over the phone and via conference and videos calls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, other groups, and clients
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects and tasks in an organized manner
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in HubSpot sales platform is considered an asset
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under limited supervision

Compensation: Range between $50,000 - $60,000 per year plus uncapped bonuses, employee ownership opportunity, health and wellbeing benefits and an opportunity for advancement. The role requirements are in person, located at our office in Kelowna B.C.
