We're pleased to partner with our client, a tech scale-up, in their search for a Content Marketing Specialist. You'll play a key role in driving the direction of the company's content strategy by crafting content that engages and informs their target audiences.

This is a full-time role that involves working from our client's modern, collaborative office space in downtown Calgary, AB, five days week.
About the role
- Oversee and execute a multi-platform social strategy and content calendar that's accurate, fresh, searchable and effective across all channels
- Create engaging, informative content (video, images, copy) that champions the brand and drives audience engagement
- Drive content marketing campaigns from idea to execution, creating content on your own and leveraging internal and external partners as needed
- Moderate messages and comments across platforms
- Produce compelling educational and informative video content showcasing products and features to support the customer journey
- Develop a deep understanding of the target audiences within the industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to support launches
- Assess and evolve the content strategy, optimizing it based on performance metrics, persona and market insights, platform best practices and developments
- Collect customer feedback and drive continuous brand and product positioning improvements
- Stay up to date on the industry of focus, its key influencers, and what's capturing the target audience's attention
- Establish, collect and report on key performance metrics and analyze them to find areas of improvement and optimization
- Use AI-driven tools to enhance the creative process
About you
- 4 years experience in developing brands and representing them through digital storytelling
- Strong hands-on knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat) and video creation programs
- Experience creating personalized, effective messages for different audiences
- Proficiency in Canva, Figma and/or Photoshop
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail that results in high-quality deliverables
- A natural curiosity to explore fresh ideas and the confidence to share them with the team
- Strong project management skills and experience with superb attention to detail
- Proficiency in English with excellent grammar and spelling
- Understanding of tracking relevant KPIs and analytics for social media
- Comfortable featuring yourself on camera as one of the personalities representing the brand
