MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS TEAM - CANADA WIDE 2024

Some roles follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home or in person, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks and/or personal work preferences. Working from the office/studio/meeting location is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. Training and Workshops may be online or in-person, as needed.

Due to federal funding requirements for this position, eligible applicants must:

Be 15 - 30 years of age on their first day of work

Be a Canadian citizen, have a permanent resident card, or be protected under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Be present in Canada while working

Hold a valid Social Insurance Number, and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinators build and maintain relations between The Co-op, the media and the public, ensuring all internal and external communication aligns with the Co-ops mandate and values. They develop the frameworks for external-facing communications; strategize and implement marketing efforts by developing key marketing and advertising campaigns; and conduct market and public opinion research.

Social Media Coordinator

Social Media Coordinators assist in the development of strategies and related content for direct and digital campaigns and maintain our social media accounts.

Communications Coordinator

Communications Coordinators are responsible for developing and delivering key messages both internally and to external target audiences.

Content Creator

Content Creators use their graphic design, video editing and copywriting skills to build creative assets in support of various campaigns.

Typical Work Hours

Regular hours Tuesday - Sunday

Rotational coverage for evenings and weekends as scheduled

We are closed for all staff on Mondays

The Co-op seeks individuals who enjoy collaboration, creativity, learning new skills, and engaging with artists and the community. This position includes some evenings and weekends as scheduled.
