A career as a Communication & Marketing Lead, Western Canada on the Donation, Sponsorship & Corporate Events Team at National Bank means supporting the leaders in all their marketing needs in order to help them in achieving their business objectives. You will support them in their strategic thinking and in the implementation of their end-to-end marketing initiatives.

Your job

  • Drive the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including managing advertising campaigns and fostering product awareness across all channels.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships to expand brand reach and strengthen market presence.
  • Craft insightful marketing briefs and collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to develop compelling messaging and marketing approaches tailored to resonate in the market.
  • Act as an ambassador for the regional market within the marketing department, overseeing the creation, delivery, editing, and optimization of all marketing materials. Additionally, serve as a Communications/Public Affairs representative on various projects, contributing to decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to achieve marketing and communications goals. Provide training and support to salespeople on marketing tools, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Your team

Within the Communications, Brand and Public Affairs sector, you will be part of a team of 20 people, and you will report to Marie-Eve Lemay, Senior Manager, Donation, Sponsorship & Corporate Events Team. Prerequisite

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Language Skills: English required, knowledge of French an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, working with key internal clients and external stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong work management skills, ability to cope with stress, ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Positive ?can-do' attitude - the ability to work through problems and challenges
