CAPACITY & COMPENSATION

This role begins as an independent contractor position with a compensation structure based on commission. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time paid role with commission-based components.

BACKGROUND & POSITION

Over the past year, Dots & Lines has brought together a few companies through unique creative experiences to local and international organizations. The company is looking for an ambitious B2B Sales Manager to join the business in its startup phase, to lead and drive Dots & Lines' B2B sales growth.

  • You have familiarity with marketing, either through work experience or collaboration with marketing teams.
  • You have great communication skills; are fluent in English, written as well as verbal.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES (RESPONSIBILITIES)

You will operate in Calgary, AB Canada and potentially in other North American markets.

  • Autonomously acquire new B2B customers and sell Dots & Lines' experiences.
  • Generate a sales pipeline, understand prospect needs, and engage with prospects through calls, emails, demos, and live events.
  • Take full ownership of the sales process, from initial contact to closing.
  • Prepare forecasts, strategic plans, and progress reports toward quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Create supporting materials (e.g., one-pagers, presentations) to assist in selling Dots & Lines' experiences to prospects.
  • Collaborate with the company founder to develop and implement a strategic sales plan.
  • Proactively approach targeted B2B clients through various channels.
  • Search for and identify new client leads.
  • Identify new business and partnership opportunities to enhance B2B sales.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Negotiate and successfully close deals.
  • Account management.
