OVERVIEW

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives aimed at driving awareness and sales for our leading alloy wheel brands, accessories, and tires. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to work both as a people leader and an individual contributor. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing comprehensive go-to-market plans for our bi-annual product launches, utilizing digital platforms to effectively connect with our target audiences, and fostering strong partnerships with our partners. With your leadership and innovative thinking, you will help drive our brand presence to new heights and ensure our continued growth and success in the Canadian market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership 20%

  • Offer guidance, coaching, and mentorship to direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to enable team members to achieve their learning and development objectives.
  • Set clear objectives for integrated and digital marketing teams, ensuring alignment with overall company goals, and conduct annual performance evaluations to assess progress.

Go-to-Market Strategy 30%

  • Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to drive the success of spring and fall alloy wheel product launches, accessories, and tires across Fastco’s diverse marketing channels.
  • Create innovative marketing plans tailored to each product launch, focusing on maximizing awareness and driving sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of go-to-market plans, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

Digital Marketing 30%

  • Develop robust marketing strategies to amplify brand presence across various digital channels, including web, email, and social.
  • Liaise with external agencies to brief and coordinate digital marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Regularly analyze and report on digital marketing performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights to key stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Trade Marketing 20%

  • Develop comprehensive annual trade marketing plans to drive product sell-through with Fastco’s retail partners, strategically aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • Develop and execute co-op marketing programs with partnering tire brands.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing programs through thorough analysis and feedback loops, optimizing strategies for continuous improvement and maximum impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in an in-house corporate marketing environment or creative agency, including a minimum of 2 years in a team leadership role.
  • Experience in developing omnichannel marketing campaigns, with specific experience building go-to-market and digital strategies for product launches.
  • Experience with email and social media marketing tools, including Mailchimp and Sprout Social.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Experience providing reporting on marketing analytics and KPIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel skills.

CONDITIONS

  • This hybrid position entails working three days per week from the office and two days per week remotely. Specifically, the on-site requirement is from Tuesday to Thursday at the Fastco Canada headquarters in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC.

This position requires occasional travel across Canada and the U.S.
