THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team on-site in our Ottawa office. This role will focus on the day-to-day maintenance of our Pardot (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) platform and Salesforce, along with supporting our general marketing iniatives. The ideal candidate will support marketing operations, help optimize our marketing automation, and assist with data cleanliness to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Pardot maintenance
- Day-to-day management of Pardot, including creating and updating email campaigns, landing pages, and forms.
- Monitor and clean Pardot database, ensuring accurate segmentation and tagging of leads.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining automated engagement programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email sends, automations, and forms.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve email marketing efforts.
- Salesforce support
- Execute basic Salesforce tasks such as lead and contact data management, updating records, and supporting CRM clean-up efforts.
- Assist in ensuring that Salesforce and Pardot are properly integrated, and data is syncing correctly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper lead assignment and follow-up.
- Support the creation of reports and dashboards in Salesforce to monitor campaign effectiveness.
- Marketing support
- Help coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across different channels, including email, social media, and events.
- Assist with content creation, including writing basic copy for marketing materials, emails, and landing pages.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, project coordination, and other ad hoc activities as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in marketing, with exposure to digital marketing, email marketing, or CRM systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of Pardot or similar marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
