The Talent Acquisition Lead is a pivotal role responsible for creating and implementing strategic workforce and talent acquisition plans that align with the organization's objectives. This role not only manages relationships and recruitment initiatives but also directly engages in recruitment and headhunting activities to attract top-tier talent that fits with VC3 culture and core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans that address anticipated vacancies, required skill sets, and expansions or changes in the workforce
  • Analyze workforce data to anticipate future employment needs and identify potential skill gaps
  • Collaborate with finance and operations departments as necessary to ensure that recruitment plans are aligned with budget forecasts and operational capabilities
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure workforce and recruitment strategies effectively support business operations
  • Lead all aspects of the recruitment process, including headhunting for high-level positions and specialized roles
  • Develop and refine the organization's talent acquisition strategy, adapting to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Oversee the selection, interviewing, and hiring processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, equitable, and aligned with organizational values
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with offshoring partners
  • Evaluate offshoring vendors for compliance with company standards and expectations for quality and performance
  • Facilitate communication and workflow between onshore teams and offshoring partners
  • Lead a proactive campus recruitment strategy to build a pipeline of emerging talent
  • Engage with universities and colleges through career fairs, guest lectures, and partnership programs
  • Manage and mentor the talent acquisition team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance recruitment techniques and tactics across the team
  • Lead by example in recruitment best practices, innovation, and strategic thinking
  • Regularly update necessary stakeholders on recruitment trends, challenges, and achievements
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with recruitment agencies and other external service providers
  • Track and analyze key metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and initiatives
  • Report on recruitment outcomes and forecast hiring needs to support decision-making processes
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements throughout the recruitment lifecycle

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 5+ years experience in workforce planning, talent management, and direct recruitment, including experience with headhunting
  • 3+ years in a management role
  • Preference given to those with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team
  • Excellent strategic thinking, with proven capability in adapting strategies to evolving business needs
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills
  • High proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
