Location: remote within Eastern Canada

WHAT’S THE ROLE? 

You will play a crucial role in expanding our market outreach by: 

  • Updating, maintaining, adapting, and improving our Sales System 
  • Building relationships with clients (current, former, and prospective) 

You will work closely with our clients in order for us to become their first choice.

  • Fast Forward French (FFF) is based in Ottawa and has been offering French classes for over 25 years. 
  • Our primary focus is helping Government of Canada employees pass their French proficiency exams to advance their careers 
  • We are a unique, boutique-like school with innovative programs that result in higher than industry standard student successes. 
  • We have over 150 teachers and administrative staff in our FFFamily, and our clients appreciate our positive and supportive approach to language learning. Word of mouth is a very strong business trigger. 
  • We tailor our sales programs to clients’ specific needs so you will have opportunities to be creative, with the support of our administrative teams. 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

  • Familiarizing yourself with the specific situation and needs of our prospective clients will be a first necessary step, followed by continuous confirmation of client needs to tailor our services appropriately 
  • Growing revenues using our Sales System, including but not limited to expanding word of mouth referrals, reinforcing existing relationships with current clients, finding and developing relationships with new clients, and improving branding on social media and other areas. 
  • Recommending and implementing initiatives to ensure that the company’s reputation and visibility constantly improve (promotional campaigns, fairs, webinars, etc.) 
  • Tracking and evaluating sales efforts to refine best strategies and tactics, including and maintaining relevant platforms eg. CRM and company databases. 
  • Keeping in touch with industry changes including competitor activities. 

WHAT SHOULD YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE LOOK LIKE? 

  • You are fluent in English and have at least an advanced level of French. 
  • You have 2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Customer service, preferably in a medium-size company. 
  • You are proficient in using sales-related CRM software/tools - and believe in recording all information to better analyze data and market trends to drive informed decision-making. 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • You have a sparkling personality, are well-organized and personable.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time 

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year 

Bonus : 25%
