ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about marketing and sustainability. You are a skilled hands-on business professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and feel rewarded when directly assisting with the company’s growth strategy. You are a highly motivated and autonomous person who demonstrates a sense of ownership.

You also have the following assets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations, communication, or related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in marketing and managing a marketing department.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Excellent command of oral and written French and English.
  • Ability to build strong customer and partner relationships face-to-face and online.
  • Up to 20% travel for conferences, tradeshows, on-site customer development, and related events.

Marketing Director Role

The Marketing Director will be responsible to manage the day-to-day marketing operations, collaborate on the creation of the strategic marketing plan and develop and execute national marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the marketing department’s operations and sales support activities (Tradeshows, Promotions, Curated Content, go-to-market campaigns.)
  • Contribute to the company’s strategic plan and ensure the execution of the marketing strategic projects.
  • Manage, improve, and uphold the TRANSTEX brand image and identity across all marketing channels, ensuring that brand guidelines are followed both internally and externally.
  • Oversee and implement digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to drive online website traffic and engagement.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Work on the internal marketing and employee value plan.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing to maintain a competitive edge.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven project and budget management skills.
  • Strategic thinker, proactive and disciplined.
  • Experienced working in a client-facing, product-oriented role (e.g. product management, product marketing, business analysis, etc.)
  • Detail oriented with an aptitude for technical information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills (listening, communication, and diplomacy skills)
  • Possess a strong working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and digital ads platforms
    (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
