Backed by our years of experience, we handle every aspect of project design, coordination, construction, and installation in remote and urban locations.About the RoleReporting to the Vice-President, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator is an essential part of the project team and will work to build relationships, generate new business, support the project proposal and close-out process, and action marketing campaigns that promote Tasu's products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Tasu to promote and develop strategic relationships with our clients, governmental and regulatory decision makers, and members of the Indigenous community.
  • Work closely with the Indigenous Relations team to promote and foster the inclusion of Indigenous groups in the development of business capture strategies.
  • Assist with the coordination of project cost estimates and proposals in collaboration with the Project Development Manager.
  • Follow up on all quotations and proposals sent within a specified time frame.
  • Enter and update sales and client information into our CRM software platform to support the sales funnel of new business.
  • Scope incoming opportunities and summarize key project information for internal review.
  • Lead project handover meetings for awarded projects.
  • Successfully collaborate with operations and marketing to build execution plans that deliver on the business strategy.
  • Lead marketing efforts to action marketing campaigns that promote Tasu's products and services.
  • Keep informed of market trends and regulatory changes to ensure Tasu can properly respond to economic, technological, and industry changes.
  • Be continuously engaged in the development and enhancement of the selling process by identifying opportunities, understanding buyer motivation, identifying competitive strengths/weaknesses, and dealing with buyer objections.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel occasionally (up to 20%)
  • Technical sales experience or related construction industry knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Post-secondary certification, degree, diploma, or similar in commerce, business administration, engineering or a related field is an asset.
  • A proficient user of O365 and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire new business and grow the profitability of a defined geographical territory.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-directed with the ability to balance the relationship management of existing customers with growth goals of the business.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to connect and communicate with a diverse range of client contacts.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, decision making and time management skills.

WORKING AT TASU

  • Full time 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday
  • This role works onsite at Tasu's office is Squamish BC. The successful candidate will reside within reasonable proximity in order to visit and work at the office location a few times each week and to meet the needs of the business.
  • The total compensation is formed by a combination of base salary and commission. Details of the commission plan are provided at the offer stage. The base salary range will start from $66,000 - $81,000 per year and will be commensurate with the skill and experience level of the successful incumbent.
  • 3 weeks annual paid vacation time to start.
  • Group health and dental benefits after completion of the probationary period.
  • The successful candidate must posses a valid driver's license and be able and willing to travel up to 20% within BC.
