Dare Foods Limited is a private family business, founded in 1892 in Kitchener, Ontario. We are looking for a full-time territory sales manager (store representative) for a territory located in the greater Metropolitan Region (Island of Montreal / North Shore).

You will need to show initiative and have good communication and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts within your territory. Your main task will be to achieve or exceed the sales and marketing goals set. You will work independently and be part of a seasoned and passionate team committed to growing the company's profitability and executing our Best Choice promise.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement Dare Foods Limited's strategic business plans at the retailer for each client/banner in the assigned territory.
  • Develop, implement and maximize an efficient and effective plan for taking care of retail-related visits in the assigned territory, according to preset classifications.
  • Effectively use professional, fact-based sales techniques to achieve full distribution (product availability) of all designated products and obtain additional display/fixture locations.
  • Proactively provide information and regular feedback to the appropriate people about successes, challenges, opportunities and competitive initiatives, related to the retail market.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with influencers and decision-makers in stores and develop result-driven promotional presentations.
  • Maintain a customer database with various information (e.g., visits, calls, displays obtained, measures taken, follow-up measures, results, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • A university or college degree in business or in another relevant field or equivalent sales experience.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills; ability to quickly identify and prioritize key opportunities.
  • Any knowledge of the retail packaged goods industry or any experience in this field would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a major asset.
  • Valid driver's license
