Marketing Specialist

With an eye for art, design, spa and catchy copy. You have experience in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of comprehensive marketing plans to promote our wellness experience
  • Execute marketing campaigns, and monitor results, and report findings to the leadership team
  • Create engaging content for social media channels to increase brand visibility, customer engagement and conversions
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize content strategy
  • Develop and execute robust, personalized email marketing strategy with a deep understanding of the customer journey
  • Create a suite of email templates to be used by the organization
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify target customer segments and develop targeted marketing campaigns to attract and retain customers
  • Write engaging copy for marketing materials, including website content, email newsletters, and print collateral
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers, to produce marketing materials that align with the brand identity and messaging
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and use insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Engage and work with promotional partners to set-up campaigns and promotions for their audience
  • Support in the development and coordination of our influencer and ambassador projects
  • Coordinate in-bound media inquires
  • Develop and optimize digital advertising campaigns
  • Measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using Google Analytics and other tools, and prepare regular reports to share insights and recommendations with the management team

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the wellness or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various marketing channels
  • Creative thinker with a passion for wellness and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with marketing automation tools (i.e. Mailchimp, HubSpot) and social media management platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills and great sense of aesthetic (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment

Additional Details

  • Start Date: June 1st, 2024
  • Location: Remote possible with in-person meetings based in and around Vancouver
  • Flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity for growth (15 - 20 hrs/week)
  • Compensation based on experience ($35 - $45/hr)
  • Opportunity to work in a supportive and positive environment with a passionate team
  • Reports to: Executive Spa Director
