Overview of the Position

The Marketing Channels Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Princess Auto's email campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives in accordance with the Marketing Campaign Calendar.

This position is an on-site role, based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Work cross-functionally with Team Members to execute marketing channels strategies (social media, Google, email marketing, radio, print, and more)
  • Communicate and work with various 3rd party vendors to execute marketing materials
  • Work with Team Members and 3rd party vendors to traffic marketing materials into market
  • Participate in marketing tactic kickoff and updates meetings
  • Assist with designing, building and executing materials for specific marketing channels
  • Work cross-functionally with Team Members to assemble content
  • Maintain marketing content calendar
  • Maintain segment lists from external sources
  • Maintain audience lists to personalize content
  • Review marketing channel campaigns and prepare reports on key metrics
  • Research new marketing tools and programs
  • Assist with the coordination of media buying
  • Manage messaging workflows and maintains existing workflows

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as Communications, Advertising, Digital Marketing, and Creative Communications an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Experience with Email Design and best email practices, Listrak, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Cloud, Typography
  • Knowledge of email privacy legislation
  • Experience managing or coordinating social media channels
  • Experience working with traditional marketing channels such as print and radio
  • Experience working with third party vendors on behalf of a business or organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to details, meticulous, highly organized, and the ability to prioritize
  • Graphic design skills are considered an asset
