Manager, Rewards Marketing

Overview:

The Manager Rewards Marketing is responsible for creating and delivering Marketing communications and programs related to the redemption lifecycle across all products within the Dream and Cash portfolios.

This role is responsible for developing and delivering the annual marketing plans and leading the delivery of fully integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to meet overall Reward's metrics (Cash opt ins/redemptions, burn rate, surplus) and specific product metrics (success metrics for AM Privileges, AM Store, etc). This role works closely with the Rewards team, who is responsible for defining and developing the Reward proposition in alignment with the Brand and Collector engagement strategies. The Rewards Marketing Manager will design marketing strategies and plans (creative, channels, and target audience) to communicate the Reward value proposition in support of the overall business objectives (encourage greater program engagement, encourage or discourage redemptions, switch to AM Cash as business needs arise).

Responsibilities:

  • Development of the marketing plan for Dream and Cash portfolios to reach Rewards financial and Collector engagement goals
  • Delivery of full integrated marketing campaigns for the Dream portfolio to meet redemption and surplus goals: Events, promotions, vendor coalition programs
  • Delivery of full integrated marketing campaigns for the Cash portfolio across all AMRP and/or mass channels to meet opt in and redemption goals: product extensions, new partner launches, opt in and redemption campaigns, lifecycle campaigns
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and grow partnerships with vendors across the portfolio
  • Lead the team by directing work and resource allocation and performance management. Actively coach direct reports (Specialists) to maximize their effectiveness and further develop their skills
  • Managing ongoing relationship Rewards and other marketing teams
  • Develop testing plan related to Rewards marketing initiatives and is responsible for results sharing
  • Manages quarterly forecasts and monthly budget and invoice reconciliation

Qualifications

  • Experience in working in large teams of multi-discipline nature
  • Sound understanding across a variety of marketing disciplines and integrated marketing approaches and best practices with knowledge of core marketing channels (print, digital, mass, promotions, social)
  • Solid knowledge of core marketing disciplines such as research, data & analytics, planning & implementation
  • Some experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Some experience in managing agencies and strategic partnerships
  • Highly proficient in managing budget planning and forecasting

Compensation and Benefits:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

The above represents AIR MILES' pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES' expected target for the first year in this position.

AIR MILES' total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
