Tillicum Agencies is seeking an experienced full-time sales professional to develop and expand our relationships in the Architectural and Design community across the Western Prairies. The successful candidate will be required to promote the product brands Tillicum Agencies represents and work closely with our specification team to deliver world class solutions to owners, developers and work as a trusted advisor to our clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify and secure opportunities for the preparation of Door Hardware, Steel Door & Frame, Integrated Door Opening Assemblies, Security Specifications, and other related opening specification sections including but not limited to targeted architectural firms, developers, designers and end user clients.
  • Regularly interact with other Tillicum team members and/or ASSA ABLOY employees concerning architectural sales opportunities, specification bid coverage, end user specification guides, design standards, project tracking (McGraw/Hill Dodge, PAR, Team Coordination Meetings), sales growth objectives, and related marketplace strategies.
  • Actively participate and network within local industry professional organizations such as CSI, AIA, DHI, IIDA, USGBC and any other approved associations.
  • Coordinate and assist with Division 01 ?Product Substitution and Approval" procedures.
  • Identify high value partners and organize factory tours if needed.
  • Develop and execute business plan for targeted segment to maximize growth opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-years industry related sales experience.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership; Ability to lead both company and customers to mutual goals and become a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to present to groups and clearly communicate message.
  • Demonstrate time management skills; must be able to work independently and set priorities to maximize face time with clients while meeting project deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to a common goal with colleagues and clients.
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of construction process.
  • Post-secondary education or Grade 12 along with additional industry related education showing continual develop in skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • DHI courses an asset.
