The Marketing Performance & Insights Analyst oversees the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) program, develops and implements search and keyword strategies and continually refines tactics to improve performance. This role manages programs in real / near-time, adjusts to optimize search (SEO) and prepares recommendations on how to leverage search to enhance the execution of marketing programs. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Analyze and identify search engine opportunities and gaps including content, keywords, and paid vs. unpaid search to support defined Vancity business outcomes.
  • Define and track KPIs for search.
  • Monitor and revise in real/near time to continually optimize results to achieve business outcomes.
  • Establish dashboards that are tailored to the information needs of key audiences.
  • Based on the implementation of search strategies, makes refinements to continue to improve search engine results and drive traffic to Vancity.
  • Oversee paid search campaigns to ensure success and report on performance.
  • Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, including optimization and keyword expansion research in coordination with other marketing initiatives.
  • Apply organizational risk and compliance standards, policies, procedures and controls to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.
  • Develop increasingly deep knowledge around Vancity's products, services and members.

YOU HAVE:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3
  • 5 years of proven analytics experience with a focus on SEM/SEO best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail

THE TEAM:

In this role, the Marketing Performance & Insights Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Marketing Performance and Insights.
