MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create effective communication strategies for our company
- Write blogs, articles, white papers, website copy, press articles, team bios
- Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
- Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
- Pitch story ideas and content to media
- Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
- Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
- Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Good organizational and time-management skills

- Great interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in English

- Tech knowledge and understanding of AI and VR technology
- The ability to passionately tell and share our story about our unique work in the communication
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter)
- Good knowledge of standard branding and communications principles and practices
- Experience in copy writing and editing
- Experience in developing, implementing, and executing successful public relations campaigns
- Working knowledge of photo and video-editing software is an asset
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
Must be a Canadian Citizen or have Permanent Residency to apply
