MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create effective communication strategies for our company
  • Write blogs, articles, white papers, website copy, press articles, team bios
  • Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
  • Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Pitch story ideas and content to media
  • Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
  • Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
  • Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to listen to others and to work well with others as part of a team
  • The ability to use your initiative
  • Great interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Openness to criticism and work well under pressure
  • Tech knowledge and understanding of AI and VR technology
  • The ability to passionately tell and share our story about our unique work in the communication
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter)
  • Good knowledge of standard branding and communications principles and practices
  • Experience in copy writing and editing
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and executing successful public relations campaigns
  • Working knowledge of photo and video-editing software is an asset

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field

Must be a Canadian Citizen or have Permanent Residency to apply
