Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for the position is to provide the Customer Development team with completion of day-to-day tasks and projects, research and administrative assistance. Liaison with Finance, Logistic, Customer Service and / or I.T. departments for system and/or process resolution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with Customer Development Managers and Territory Managers to prepare Customer Development plans in a timely fashion and ensure changing business or account needs are adapted into the plans.
  • Work with assigned Customer Development Manager(s) to ensure new or established product presentations and marketing driven promotions are developed and presented to the category manager or buying manager in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of account specific presentations, item maintenance forms and promotional forms.
  • Compile spreadsheets utilizing information/statistics retrieved from AS400, Cognos and customer on-line resources such as Retail Link.
  • Liaison with Customer Development head office customers on all administrative issues such as UPC's, samples, account specific form completion, pricing etc.
  • Prepare promotional recaps and field level demo summaries.
  • Prepare new listing / delisting documents and ensure distribution to Sales / Marketing Departments is provided.
  • Preparation and distribution of sales correspondence, reports etc.
  • Maintain safe work practices, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
  • Coordination of sales meetings, agendas as required.
  • Provide reception relief (lunch/break) or as required.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Intermediate Excel skills required. Experience on customer portals, on-line platform required and experience with AS400 preferred
  • Excellent grammar, verbal and writing skills
  • Must be results-driven, resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects and strict deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction
  • High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible.
  • University or college degree/diploma and or equivalent experience in an sales support
