The Marketing Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Marketing team by assisting in the accurate, effective and efficient communication and marketing to target audiences. The key role of this position is to support the execution of the division's marketing plan.

In addition, the Marketing Administrator will participate in the protection and efficient utilization of the Company's assets through the implementation of approved policies, procedures and internal controls. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll get to do as a Marketing Administrator with Midwest Property Management:

  • Assist with updating and maintaining web content and other marketing material
  • Monitor social media and other online activity
  • Engage with target audiences. This includes responding to reviews/feedback/complaints and communicating this information to necessary team members.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Midwest Property Management communities so you can recommend and schedule viewings for potential residents that inquire online and through social media.
  • Assist with the development of corporate branding, brand identity and monitor brand use.
  • Work as part of a team and maintain a positive and energetic attitude
  • Act as a brand ambassador
  • Distribute and order marketing materials
  • Attend and promote company and resident events as required
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

What you'll need to be successful in the role:

  • Having knowledge and experience with Wordpress will be considered an asset. Must have the ability to learn how to effectively use Wordpress.
  • Having knowledge and experience with Adobe Products will be considered an asset. Must have the ability to learn how to effectively use Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe products.
  • Strong computer skills are a must
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities
  • Proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
