The Inside sales representative will be part of the Motors & Mechanical Operations Team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This position is responsible to lead a team of specialists who provide internal and external customers support (e.g. technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance). Oversee customer support process, definition, implementation, and execution in order to achieve target levels of service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Inside Sales Representative (ISR) are responsible for handling all inbound media (phone, email, web, fax) communication for electrical motors.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction and take the extra mile to engage customers;
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication;
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls;
  • Order entry and expediting;
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools, Price and delivery inquiries.;
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents;
  • Technical assistance and Product selection Nema and IEC Motors and Drives;
  • Spec Review and Configuration for Custom Motors in BUS and OMS;
  • Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements;
  • Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives;
  • Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Customer & Sales organization;
  • Analyses customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization;
  • Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Post-secondary education in a related area plus relevant training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales and a solid technical background with electrical motors.
  • Superior ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, adapt to new ideas & constant changes and deliver successful results.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • SAP knowledge and Logistics are considered an asset.
