This position is responsible for maintaining the website content and design, digital signage and graphic design as well as coordinating photography/videography, while supporting the marketing creative team and maintaining brand standards.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Website

  • Reviewing website pages to keep content up to date (daily, weekly and seasonal checks of content)
  • Update content
  • Design and launch advertising on home page and internal banners
  • Work with Manager, Lodging and Manager, Recreation to determine website updates
  • Create new website pages based on feedback and requests from leaders across the resort
  • Manage the backend maintenance of the website such as redesigning and deleting old pages
  • Coordinate seasonal web changes; includes photos, top banners, and conditions report

Waivers/Resort Kiosks

  • Successful implement waivers across resort as needed
  • Update content seasonally
  • Work with risk management, IT and finance to confirm systems are connected to systems

Photography/Video/DAM

  • Create seasonal shot lists for contracted photographers and videographers
  • Coordinate access for photographers around resort
  • Organize action photo shoots, involves scouting and scheduling talent, working with Photographer on-site and coordinating with Operations
  • Upload, organize and meta-tag photos of the Digital Asset Manager (photo storage) for searching purposes
  • Maintain and organize photos as provided by photographers (both in-house and contract)
  • Manage photo waivers and ensure all photography being used has a waiver attached
  • Provide requested photographs to internal and external contacts
  • Contact and collect photography from Blue Mountain wedding brides and photographers
  • Source and purchase non-contracted images from local photographers

Creative(Support)

  • Work with department Managers to design advertisements as needed
  • Design advertisements for digital signage across the resort
  • Coordinate with Marketing staff members to effectively incorporate photographic, editorial and design elements into assigned projects and to meet assigned deadlines
  • Brainstorm and come up with creative campaign ideas

Digital Signage

  • Basic knowledge of digital signage functionality and capabilities
  • Ability to add, edit, and delete content from digital signage across resort
  • Ability to create content, playlists and assign to specific locations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a creative field such as graphic design or marketing
  • Minimum 1 year of graphic design experience
  • Working knowledge of relevant page layout, web design, and photo editing software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects,
  • Advanced computer skills on both working platforms (MAC and PC) an asset
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS (web coding)
  • Advanced communication skills, written and verbal
  • advanced spelling and grammar skills required
