JOB DESCRIPTION:

A growing international Toys and Games manufacturer and distributor is looking to recruit a dynamic fully bilingual North America sales manager with large accounts experience to join our team.

You possess a sharp mind, have a young spirit and have dealt with large and small retail accounts in Canada and the USA. You would love to join a dynamic and growth oriented company that produces and distributes family oriented and educational board games and toys. You have experience in presenting and selling products to large retailers, to independently owned stores and major online retailers. You can create and identify new business opportunities, achieve sales goals and help to grow the company even further. You are great at solving problems, you excel at listening and you ask the right questions. You are highly organized and efficient and can manage different projects at the same time. You are a team player and enjoy working in an open environment.

You live in and around Montreal and are ready to travel and participate in industry fairs (in Canada and USA and possibly Europe), and demonstrate and sell our games and toys (in French and English) with panache.

The selected candidate will initially have the following responsibilities:

  • Meet/exceed sales growth targets by maintaining existing accounts and by creating new business opportunities;
  • Develops sales and marketing campaigns/promotions to achieve the goals of company;
  • Oversee growth on various retail channels;
  • Ability to plan and analyze monthly sales results and find ways to improve on them;
  • Represents the Company at trade shows and client meetings to promote our products;
  • Communicate with and manage external sales representative and an internal support team;
  • Coordinate production schedule based on sales and delivery requirements;
  • Work with the Graphics department to create all sales material including presentations and catalogs;
  • Follow up with the Support team to make sure orders are shipped promptly and according to orders;
  • Provide support to various functions in the company (you should be able to wear several hats and switch hats quickly);
  • Be involved in the product selection and development;
  • Prepare and present concise and clear reports to the company president and other teams;

The ideal candidate:

  • As many of our customers are based in the USA you must be fully bilingual ENG/FR;
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling consumer products to large and small retailers;
  • Is highly organized, effective and meticulous;
  • Can easily adapt to changing and evolving responsibilities
  • Can keep and follow up on deadlines;
  • Is ambitious and able to come up with initiatives;
  • Can be a highly functioning member of a team who is proactive and engaged;
  • Is ready and is available to travel in North America and possibly to Europe;
  • Is comfortable in an open office environment;
  • Interest in games and educational products will be a plus;
  • Has good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint;
  • Possesses a driver's license and a vehicle;
