We're looking for a creative, agile and detail-oriented language professional
You'll translate a wide variety of texts from English to French in a stimulating environment with career advancement opportunities.

This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Produce accurate translations from English to French on a wide range of subject matter
• Proofread content to ensure it is clear, error-free, and adheres to standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines
• Carry out comprehensive research and contribute to terminology records
• Work with a team of professional translators, sharing best practices to maximize results

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• In-depth knowledge of translation theories, practices, trends and approaches
• Ability to effectively work with computer-assisted translation (CAT) software
• Interest in developing your skills and learning more about agribusiness and finance
• Full time, permanent resource (not freelance or contract)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• An undergraduate degree with specialization in translation, language or linguistics and at least two years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); professional designation or certification in translation is an asset
