JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Promote Rocky Mountain brand and products throughout territory
  • Develop business relationships with existing and new dealers
  • Expand current position in the market
  • Create strategic territory plan for expansion and growth in all product categories
  • Identify, qualify and execute new distribution opportunities
  • Maximize company’s sales process and sales cycles to achieve territory budget and deadlines
  • Report all sales process activities in the Company’s CRM to build accurate sales pipeline and optimize sales cycle
  • Provide precise territory forecasts for bikes units and sales $
  • Maintain and update account contacts, new business opportunities and sales activities in the Company’s CRM
  • Provide sales and technical support to dealers
  • Provide trade marketing support to dealers, by presenting the trade marketing tools effectively
  • Attend trade and consumer events to promote the brand
  • Stay current with competitor landscape, product and trends
  • Share regular feedback with product development and marketing
  • Liaise between dealers, warranty, credit and customer service departments
  • Provide weekly territory report to Eastern Regional Sales Manager through effective CRM management
  • Attending weekend events through peak season required (demo’s, dealer events, industry events)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years in the Sporting goods industry
  • Superior sales knowledge and commitment that drives success
  • Superior customer service and sales account management
  • Superior Work Ethic and Integrity
  • College Education in sales, marketing and/or business development
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Background in a B2B2C sales model (IDB’s experience is a must)
  • Strong understanding of retail & sports industry
  • Proven sales background and success
  • Ability to work independently to achieve necessary, on time, results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
  • Comfortable presenting technical information to groups of people
  • Avid cyclist an asset
