Raison d’être

Le titulaire devra assurer la gestion d’équipes multidisciplinaires, en vue de réaliser divers projets informatiques stratégiques à haute visibilité.

Responsabilités

• Comprendre le contexte d’affaire; bien saisir la portée et la raison d’être du projet;
• Faire respecter le périmètre du projet, livrer selon l’échéancier et le budget alloué;
• Gérer toutes les phases des projets: analyse du besoin, choix de solution, cycles de tests et de correctifs, préparation de la mise-en-production et implantation, gestion de la transition, mise-en-œuvre business (gestion du changement);
• Préparer et présenter les indicateurs de performance du projet au comité directeur ainsi qu’à la haute direction de l’entreprise; devra suivre la méthodologie de gestion de projet du Bureau de projets;
• Présenter les impacts des requêtes de changements, proposer des solutions alignées aux besoins d’affaires, obtenir les orientations et les ressources nécessaires auprès du comité directeur du projet;
• Accompagner les départements face aux changements impliqués par le(s) projet (s);
• Assurer les communications avec les intervenants internes et externes liés aux projets qui lui sont assignés;
• Assumer la responsabilité de livraison de différents types de projets (projet WEB, projet d’intégration, projet d’implantation d’un logiciel en SaaS, etc);
• Assurer la gestion de plusieurs projets en parallèle.

Exigences

• Diplôme d’études universitaires en informatique ou domaine connexe;
• Détenir 10 années d’expérience en informatique dont au moins 6 années à titre de chargé de projets;
• Expérience en direction de projets informatiques stratégiques ayant apporté des changements importants dans les façons de faire dans une unité d’affaires;
• Bilinguisme (français et anglais), oral et écrit ;
• Excellent sens de l’organisation, esprit d’équipe et leadership;
• Connaissance de MS-Project ;
• Connaissance de l’industrie du voyage (un atout certain);
• Certification PMP (un atout).

Purpose

This incumbent will be ensuring the management of the multidisciplinary team, in order to realize different strategic and high visibility projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business context ; good understanding of the scope and the purpose of the project;
• Make sure that the project parameters are respected; deliver according to schedule and to the allotted budget;
• Manage, in a project mode, all phases : needs analysis, choice of solutions, cycles of tests and corrections, preparation of the production and implementation, transition management,  business implementation (change management);
• Prepare and present performance indicators for the project to the committee director as well as to the company’s upper management; will have to follow the project management methodology of the project Office;
• Present the impact of change requests, propose solutions aligned with business needs; obtain the direction and the resources necessary from the committee director;
• Support the business with different changes brought by the projects;
• Ensure communication with internal and external contributors about the projects that are assigned to him.
• Responsible for the delivery of different types of projects (Web project, integration project, implementation project of software in SaaS etc.);
• Manage different projects in parallel.

 Requirements

• University degree in IT or other job-related experience;
• Possess 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 of those as a project manager;
• Experience as project director, for strategic projects with the impact  on ways of doing business;
• Bilingual (English and French), spoken and written;
• Very organized, Highly customer service oriented, Great team spirit;
• MS-Project knowledge;
• Knowledge of the travel industry, an asset;
• PMP certification, an asset.
