RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, own and manage implementation of the strategic marketing plan for traditional, digital and eCom platforms
  • Define and abide to strict marketing budgets
  • Manage eCom team (Web/eCom Manager, digital agency, customer service, etc.)
  • Manage, guide and mentor marketing department personnel
  • Oversee freelancers when required (photography, video & design)
  • Consult with category heads for product marketing pacification and strategy
  • Communicate with dealers to increase the Sports Excellence brand adoption
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and support, vision, values and brand standards of Sports Excellence
  • Monitor external influences: trends and competitive marketing landscapes
  • Work with category heads to develop multiple marketing campaigns in partnership with key suppliers
  • Guide and work with marketing team in development of printed and/or digital consumer or trade collateral
  • Define tradeshow themes and supply all required supporting marketing collateral
  • Drive content creation for SETV network, both proprietary and vendor supplied and manage store network
  • Create and present corporate and marketing presentations to membership and key suppliers

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Marketing
  • Retail and Sporting Goods experience a bonus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Occasional travel required
