Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping to develop and implement the overall digital marketing strategy for Distech Controls.
Technologically savvy and current on best practices, with the ability to adopt trends to fit our business objectives best, you’ll work cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, product, sales, R&D, and design. The ideal candidate is a rockstar storyteller with strong digital marketing project management skills and the flexibility to support the organization’s growth by driving awareness and engagement with Distech Controls Brand.

  • Support the marketing team in creating and executing local and global marketing campaigns to support sales growth and brand awareness goals. 
    Plan, develop and implement effective digital strategies (website, digital campaign, social networks, community management, SEM).
  • Define objectives and measure performance through effective segmentation and a deep understanding of our target verticals and customer personas.
  • Manage association relationships to ensure we are maximizing the benefits of lead generation and thought leadership efforts.
  • Own the tracking, campaign measurement, analytics, and dashboards for regular reporting.
  • Plan and execute A/B testing to optimize and improve our digital performance and costs over time. 
  • Maintain digital channels and interfaces, including images, graphics, and HTML elements that support the front-end marketing website, email, social media, and other digital platforms as necessary.
  • Monitor and animate the various online communities daily.
  • Ensure all email communications, advertising, and promotional digital materials adhere to corporate marketing and compliance standards.
  • Develop the editorial strategy, write, test, and optimize marketing copy for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing team on the visual component of advertisements, and potentially designing ads yourself using Adobe solutions.
  • Provide leadership on digital marketing best practices and stay updated on new industry trends to keep our team on the edge of innovation.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and analysis of the market trends.
  • Work closely with other marketing team members on key initiatives and provide backup support or collaboration as needed.
  • Provide direction and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 7 years minimum experience in web marketing and content creation/community management, B2B2C a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Previous experience managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns in tech industry, startup organizations, or agency experience. 
  • Rock-star written and verbal communication skills in both French and English; must possess the ability to develop hard-hitting messaging and copy.
  • A power user of website and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, LinkedIn, HotJar, SEMRush, Drift, Salesforce, or Pardot.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to use data to optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies.
  • Experience setting up and optimizing campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Confidence in implementing and running A/B tests across copy, landing pages, and creative assets to increase engagement and conversion rates.
  • Detail-oriented, with superior project management and follow-through skills.
    Work well under pressure, in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often ambiguous/fast-changing environment, and effectively and professionally handle challenging issues.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints a plus.
  • Previous experience managing website development a plus.
  • Previous experience designing creative assets highly desired.
