Who'll You Be Joining:

We're looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Brand and Marketing Operations Team. You will be responsible for leading the marketing organizations planning processes, owning and managing the team's marketing calendar, championing the standardization of our project management system to drive efficient resource and workflow management while also leading the marketing organization's quarterly goal setting and evaluation processes.

You will be a critical partner to our marketing and sales channel teams, working collaboratively with them to manage the flow of planned work by managing the marketing calendar and championing the use of Asana as the department's centralized project management system improving overall workflow efficiency to effectively bring got-to-market strategies to life through flawless execution. You will also play a key role in collaborating with department directors, leading them through quarterly goal tracking processes enabling them to effectively and efficiently craft, report and present the departments quarterly goals to the executive management group. We're looking for a candidate that's incredibly organized and motivated to strengthen their natural leadership skills by gaining experience in organizational management. You have experience as a team leader and organizer with a passion for collaboration, process, and implementation.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Lead a team to translate launch dates from a 24-month calendar into tangible project development timelines in Asana, enabling executional team leads to proactively plan resources
  • Own the Marketing Department's Asana Marketing Dashboard as the cornerstone tool to manage marketing operations across the department
  • Champion the usage of Asana, documenting norms and ways of working across the organization
  • Lead the executional excellence of high impact, sales driving campaigns

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • 1-2 years of experience in account management at a marketing/advertising agency or product/brand marketing coordination at a product or services-based company.
  • You have experience leading multi-channel marketing campaigns at a product or services-based company.
  • You have experience working within a matrixed organization and understand how to leverage process to complete complex, multi-stakeholder projects with large multi-functional groups with competing priorities.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills and have proven experience delivering actionable insights to improve the business.
  • You are a strategic thinker and can make objective recommendations from abstract concepts and analysis.

What happens after you apply:

Interview Process:

  • A 30-minute phone/video call with a member in Talent Acquisition
  • A first round virtual interview with key members of the team - expect behavioural and situational questions
  • If your first round interview goes well, you can expect a take home case study, which you will get a week to work on - you'll then come in virtually to present your solution to the team
  • Just so you know: Our hired candidate will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check.

Our people are empowered to take ownership of their schedules with workflows that allow for flexible hours. Based on your job, you have an option of office, hybrid or fully remote work. It is our top priority to keep employees safe. As we continue to take measures to keep employees safe in our offices, we have adopted a mandatory vaccine policy to be present in the physical Toronto office or other ecobee sponsored events in Ontario as of November 1, 2021.
