Medical Sales Representative

Our client is the exclusive Canadian distributor for a selection of high-quality and established brands found throughout the Canadian healthcare system. Calling on physicians and clinicians in hospitals and clinics across Western Canada you will be the main point of contact for the client and will be a key component of their patient care continuum.

This role is ideal for the high income-oriented outside sales representative aspiring to thrive in medical sales in Canada. The position is developmental in nature and would be excellent for someone with 2-4 years of outside sales experience, a BSc or better, and medical aptitude, knowledge, or experience. Travel is 50% of the time, work from home and the road, and is geographically situated in Vancouver.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

  • Establish relationships with clinical partners across a range of medical fields and institutions
  • Be a subject matter expert and brand ambassador for product selection
  • Execute impactful interactions with customers to educate them on product portfolio
  • Conduct first-class training programs
  • Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical / Technical support on product usage
  • Develop and implement a market penetration plan and hit the targets
  • Invest your travel and expense budget effectively to drive territory sales
  • Identify new clients and record interactions with existing clients in CRM to ensure excellent service experience
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales
  • Monitor competitor's products and activities, report on market conditions and suggest ways to improve

You should have the following in your background to apply:

  • Post-secondary education and 2-3 years outside sales experience
  • Available to travel frequently across Western Canada to meet with clients; you will also connect virtually
  • T&E budget management
  • High motivation with a desire to exceed everyday
  • Solution-oriented team player and collaborator
  • Highly organized with excellent territory and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
  • Ability to make an impact verbally, professionally and socially
